ASC 2024 Conference Chair Welcome

Welcome to ASC 2024 and welcome to Salt Lake City, Utah! On behalf of our organizing team, we are excited to invite you to join us at the Salt Palace Convention Center for the 2024 ASC Conference to be held September 1 – 6, 2024. Salt Lake City is a wonderful venue for our conference! The city is vibrant and offers numerous good restaurants, welcoming hotels and housing opportunities, and sights to explore (Utah is home to several, breathtaking national parks).
Our program chairs, Tiina Salmi and Hélène Felice, are preparing an excellent and exciting scientific program focused on the present and future of applied superconductivity and the numerous impacts our scientific endeavors can have on society at large.
In parallel, Anna Fox is leading our effort with the ELEVATE program offering opportunities for all participants for growth of both technical and professional skills. The ELEVATE program offers numerous opportunities for students and early career scientists to network and discover what a career in applied superconductivity might look like.
Overarching themes dear to us and connecting both the technical program and the ELEVATE program are our commitment to sustainability and to promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the scientific realm.
