MEET US AT CONGRES MATERIAUX – LILLE (24-28 October 22)

An international conference organized by the French Federation of Materials! EMFL will be present for the whole week at the Congrès Matériaux, among thirty other research and scientific organized working with materials, both academic and industrial. Two members of ISABEL project will represent EMFL: The Industrial Liaison Officer and Project Manager. It will be a great opportunity for EMFL to discuss knowledge and possible collaborations with experts on materials applications and innovation. We hope to see a lot of you there! WORKSHOP ON 2D MATERIALS (24-26 October 2022) – WARSAW UNIVERSITY

"2D materials", is the leading theme of a few international projects involving our research groups at the LNCMI/CNRS-Grenoble/Toulouse and the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw. This workshop, organized from Monday October 24th 2022 to Wednesday 26th 2022 at University of Warsaw, gives a unique opportunity to meet researchers leading the studies on "2D materials" worldwide and to learn on their recent achievements. MEET ISABEL TEAM ! After a participation to RDV Carnot last year, and Wire Dusseldorf in June 2022, ISABEL will represent EMFL at the Big Science Business Forum 2022, between 4-7 October. Three representatives from the LNCMI-Toulouse laboratory will join the event, and be present all the week at booth S30. We are waiting for you !

WORKSHOP: PERSPECTIVES WITH HIGH MAGNETIC FIELDS AT NEUTRON SOURCES

On the 2nd-4th of November 2022, scientific and technical experts of high-field and neutron facilities will gather with the aim to identify the high-field needs of the neutron community, evaluate the technical challenges, and prepare a roadmap for developing unprecedented capabilities. The workshop will be the occasion to present recent scientific and instrumental breakthroughs, discuss the state of the art, and identify paths toward the collaborative development of modern high-field magnets for neutron-scattering facilities. This year, the ISABEL team will represent the EMFL by participating at the 14th edition of the RENDEZ-VOUS Carnot. This event offers the possibility for thousands of researchers and experts from industry to gather and to meet around research and innovation. For EMFL, it will be a great opportunity to inform on our activities, research and facilities access as well as on our ongoing H2020 projects.
